Updated: Jan 23, 2018

Stuck on what to do for Australia Day?
Spending time with family & friends around the pool is always a good option! We've got some alternate suggestions for you:
1.Take a Picnic in the Park -
in Winston Hills
Come grab a bite to eat, a coffee or some dessert at
Chook-a-Licious and visit any one of our neighbouring parks for some time with the family.
We've got a list of them here for you:

1. The Lions Park - Caroline Chisholm Drive, Winston Hills
Age range: Kids 2 - 8yrs
A short walk across from the Chisholm Shops where you can grab some lunch and have a picnic with the family and watch the kids play.

2. Caber Park - 22 Clackmannan Road, Winston Hills
Age range: Kids 1 - 10yrs old
Caber Park has eight play areas which flow into each other, designed to be child friendly for all ages. It is Winston Hills 'hidden gem' as it is nestled away with a quiet serenity.

3. John Curtin Reserve - Huxley Drive, Winston Hills
Age range: 2 - 8yrs
Tucked away in Winston Hills, John Curtin Reserve is a short drive from Chook-A-Licious and the Chisholm Shops. It's shaded with trees and has a BBQ area. Why not explore the surrounding bushland while you're there - there's even a small rocky pond area down the bush track.

4. Third Settlement Reserve -
3 Edison Parade, Winston Hills
Age range: 2 - 6yrs
Third Settlement Reserve is a great park along Toongabbie Creek. There is a shaded area and a lot of paths for those bike riding enthusiasts to ride along.
